FEDS WARN OF FAKE AIRBAGS
THE U. S. Department of Transportation has issued a consumer safety alert regarding the dangers of having nonprofessional auto repairs shops install new airbags to a vehicle that has been damaged in an accident. The cost for airbag replacement can be in excess of $1000. and the counterfeit airbags look identical with the identical markings of the original equipment. Only cars that have had airbags replaced in the last three years are at risk.
